Basic introduction to dry valve system?
A dry valve system is a device used in automatic fire suppression systems. It is often used in cold climates or conditions prone to freezing to prevent water pipes from freezing. Dry valve systems are different from common wet fire automatic fire extinguishing systems. Wet systems retain water in pipes so that in the event of a fire, it can be released immediately to extinguish the source of the fire. When a fire alarm is detected, the automatic fire alarm system sends a signal to the drying valve, which then opens, allowing compressed air or nitrogen to enter the pipe and release water for fire extinguishing.
What are the application areas of the Dry Valve system?
The main advantage of the Dry Valve system is that it can be used in cold environments because there is no water in the pipes and will not freeze, thus ensuring that a source of firefighting water is available when needed. This is useful for protecting cold storage, parking lots, underpasses and other locations that may be affected by cold weather. Freezing warehouse: In a refrigerated warehouse, the temperature is very low.
